Description

Note: This is an add-on for the game World of Warcraft. Add-ons in World of Warcraft are a way for users to create new UI elements that actually modify the way people can interact with the game. Sites like the one linked about provide ways to share those add-ons with others.

This add-on provides a simplified Archaeology window. The default World of Warcraft interface for Archaeology provides this information in a variety of separate windows. When the new Archaeology feature came out, I was frustrated with having to move between those windows, so I created this add-on. All the information needed to level up the profession is contained in one window.

Features

All artifact progress in one window.
Survey and Trade buttons accessible from add-on window.
Hides the window when entering combat.
Hovering over the race names shows a list of zones where fragments were previously found.
Highlights races that have previously been found in the current zone.
Almost everything in the add-on uses Blizzard localized text. Should be usable in any language. Only parts in English are the mini-map button tool-tip, right-click menu, and the slash command help.
Ability to show/hide window on a per character basis. Click the mini-map button to show/hide, or type /archindiana
